The foliage of Fall

I wrote a post telling you how beautiful summer is in Canada and probably a post before that telling you how anxiously I was waiting for summer, and I also wrote a post showing you all 4 seasons in Canada, but I think I will take the time now to tell and show you how refreshing, leaf-kicking, messy and peaceful Fall is in Canada.

Fall is the season that has you getting out early in the morning saying “it’s good to be in Canada”. The foliage starts ranging in color from green to red, yellow and orange and the temperature starts dropping mid September, giving you some really wet cloudy days with a tease of sunny days, with a high of 10C, and some weeks of randomly fluctuating temperatures. Days start getting shorter with sunrise starting at 7am (after daylight saving time) and sunset starting at 10 to 5pm.

So here are pictures of my neighborhood which I haven’t showed you before, this is a park about 5 mins walk from my place and is where I first started peddling on my bike, by the small hill on the basketball court. Also, I walk through here at least twice, every day, on my way to school and back. Do pardon me for taking photos much later into the season after all the leaves have fallen. Fall is also a good time to take a good look at home designs as the trees are bare, something I also enjoy doing on my walks. So I thought I’d share with you some of my everyday life moments :)

Of course with that many leaves falling, someone has to rake them, so I have only had the time to rake that much last Sunday

And this is the view of fall from my window :)
