hmm I don't know if most of you would say that such an incident is typical to happen in Syria :p but regardless I don't think so, not from an international company. I actually do think that they lied about the promotions on their catalogs to get the customers lured into their shops. Also, that it is started by Majd Al Futtaim rather than someone directly from there might be another reason that made me believe it :p

It is good that the Customer Protection manager mentioned that a customer could file in an official complaint, but I highly doubt anyone would!

All in all, I'm glad that Carrefour opened in Aleppo, I just hope this incident does put a bad stain on hypermarkets that just about started flourishing there.
